Colorado Vocal Institute

“My experience at CVI was better than I could have ever imagined. Not only did my singing improve greatly, but I made so many friendships and the small class sizes, CVI gives singers the opportunity to really focus on their voice and their own personal growth. Not only that, but the activities after classes each night are so fun and it really does feel like a second family. I’m so grateful that I got to be a part of such a wonderful experience and I highly encourage anyone that is interested to apply!”
Kyla (AZ)

“CVI has been a life-changing experience for me. I sing so much differently than when I began. I can see that I grew a ton as a singer that week and have grown as a person and made friends along the way that I think will be my friends for a very long time from now. Not only that, I could not believe just how beautiful it was in Beaver Creek. It was like a whole different country! Needless to say, it was an experience that I will hold close for years to come.”

“It was everything I dreamed of!”

“The Colorado Vocal Institute was such a wonderful place to learn music and to be
immersed in a community of people who have similar interests. It felt like a party every day, whether we were going out to restaurants or riding to gondolas, we were all together laughing and having fun. CVI made me excited to learn everyday with the amazing and kind staff.”
Laura (IL)

CVI was such an amazing experience, and the week went by much too fast. I forged so many friendships with the fellow students, and those friendships won’t be soon forgotten. The coaching that I got from the amazing teachers at CVI was incredible. I didn’t know it was possible to learn and improve so much in just a week. I was so inspired when we got to see a dress rehearsal for an opera in full swing. I can’t wait for next year!

“If there’s one thing you can take away from this, it’s that CVI is something that greatly improves your craft, so don’t be scared but embrace new opportunities and experiences. You won’t regret it.”

Samantha (TX)

“The schedule flowed really well throughout the day. It was nice to have down times where I could rest my voice and enjoy what’s around Beaver Creek. Every faculty member was so kind and fun to be around. They coached and taught me in a way that I knew they just wanted me to be the best I could. CVI has definitely changed me as a person and a singer. I didn’t know what to expect coming in, but it was better than I ever dreamed of. CVI introduced me to so many amazing new friendships that will last for a long time and I will forever be grateful for that. Love you CVI friends and staff!”

Roxie (TX)

“I found all members of faculty to be extremely knowledgeable and interested in each student’s journey and success. I love how they built such a strong positive community that really supports and cares about each other. I thought the non-singing cases were almost as useful as the direct work and added a lot to the experience.”

Grace (TX)

“CVI grew me so much as a musician, I used to be nervous singing solos but the
Institute helped me get over that. My tone and vocal technique is so much better, it felt very personal to each student and everybody received wonderful coaching. All the instructors are wonderful and we focused on things I had no idea about when I walked in the door, but the little things that I fixed made me so much better as a whole.”

“Good way to connect with other musicians that genuinely care about music”
Marley (TX)

“From the fun, engaging activities hosted by the counselors and the beyond helpful and formative lessons/lectures, I have learned so much about music and life as a whole. For example, I have learned to relax more on stage and be mindful of how I appear to others from my coaching , acting, and vocal lessons. In a short amount of time, my abilities as a soloist have improved exponentially, while I was absolutely living it up with friends after my lessons. Thank you for teaching me so much in one week and for helping to instill confidence in myself, music, and on life in general.”
JohnPaul (TX)

“It’s a very tailored experience to you vocally. Very inclusive & supportive. Counselors doing a fantastic job.”
Kate (CO)

“CVI offers young singers the opportunity to grow as artists and to meet others with similar interests. Between lessons, coachings and classes, students will get a chance to explore the beautiful Colorado mountains…. Not only did I develop better musical skills, but I also learned a lot about myself and the way I work with others. This institute is so special, and I think it truly changed my life for the better.”
Kaylyn (TX)

“Colorado Vocal Institute offered an intimate and high-class camp where students get individual focus on their talents with college professors. I really appreciated the multiple one-on-one classes provided throughout the day, as well as multiple performance and class opportunities….”
Liesl (IL)

“At the Colorado Voice Institute, I learned how to grow in my vocal journey through classes exploring foreign languages like German and Italian diction to one-on-one lessons with highly experienced staff members… Because of CVI, I now have a valuable musical cohort as well as knowledge about applying for colleges’ vocal programs.”
