The Colorado Vocal Institute (CVI) is excited to announce our sixth-annual voice program June 20th-28th, 2025 in Beaver Creek, Colorado. CVI is an audition-based program specifically designed to nurture the development of high school singers in Classical and Musical Theater singing. Our program differs from other programs in that it places an emphasis on individual lessons and coachings. Students (incoming 9th graders through recent high school graduates, ages 13-18) will learn to be better singers and performers within a small group from singers across the country. In addition to the personalized instruction, beautiful scenery, and wonderful accommodations, you will also have the use of the Vilar Performing Arts Center, one of the most elegant and state of the art theaters in the Rocky Mountains.

Lodging in Beaver Creek

Our unique teen housing offers students ages 13-18 the opportunity to connect with other musicians from across North America and beyond including teens from our “sister” program the Colorado Chamber Music Institute. Guided by our institute of counselors to ensure your child’s safety and well-being, all CVI students will live in the teen lodging and get to experience the beauty and joy of Colorado. Hiking, swimming, campfires, movie nights, and a ski lift ride to the top the mountain are just some of the activities they will get to enjoy together. Each student will have their own bed in a shared lodging room with bathroom.

We need your help!

Last year we awarded over $15,000 in work/study scholarships. But even this amount is not enough to meet the need. Each year we turn away many dedicated students because we cannot offer them financial assistance. They need our help. Your gift can help us assist more deserving young musicians.

Colorado Vocal Institute is part of a qualified non-profit called the Colorado Institute of Music (CIM). CIM operates three educational programs for students ages 2-18 years of age; Colorado Suzuki Institute, Colorado Chamber Music Institute, and Colorado Vocal Institute
